I've always enjoyed taking photos, but it wasn’t until 2019 that I began to take it seriously. I bought an old Canon DSLR and signed up for a beginner’s photography course—and from the first class, I was hooked. Since then, I’ve taken more workshops, devoured countless YouTube tutorials, and filled my shelves with photography books. My love for candid street photography really took off during the Covid lockdowns, when I started bringing my camera along on daily walks. These moments of stillness and spontaneity helped shape my eye. I upgraded to a lighter mirrorless Fuji XT-30 with a few lenses to accompany me on my walks, though I also shoot with my smartphone. The best camera is always the one you have with you! Today, while street photography remains a favourite, I’m just as drawn to portraits, landscapes, nature, and travel—whatever captures a mood or tells a story.
